The Northern Membership Scheme (NMS) passed 100%
The Northern Membership Scheme (NMS) will now come into operation on 1/6/05 having been agreed by the BCF Council 23/4/05 with 100% backing.

The Northern Membership Scheme (NMS)
- What's it all about?
The NMS should come into operation on 1/6/05 if agreed by the BCF Council this weekend. The scheme would allow Northerners to pilot the scheme across the North. If the East Lancs league agree to affiliate (cost = nothing), then any graded game of any NMS member will automatically be accepted into the national grading list - FREE! And even better - the BCF have agreed to accept all historical grading information of any member - again FOR FREE! Want to be a member?.... read on....

I disagree entirely with all of this - and one thing that it is definitely not is free....
